Android 10 update for devices from major manufacturers
If your phone even receives the Android 10 update. Unfortunately, many Android smartphones will never have it. And some of those who will get there may not get it until next year, when another version of Android is already available.
Asus
Asus Zenfone 5Z was one of the phones included in the Android 10 beta program. So we can expect at least that the Zenfone 5Z is updated to a complete and stable Android 10. The new flagship product of Asus, Asus ROG Phone 2 is also a powerful candidate for the update Android 10 There was no official confirmation from the company. However, a comment on the Asus forums indicates that the Zenfone 6 will also receive the update.
Asus surprised us last year by providing Android Pie updates to many devices. We may be able to see Asus make a trend, but it's too early to know.
- Zenfone 5Z, Zenfone 6
- ROG Phone 2
Essential
Essential is only a phone to his belt, the Essential Phone. It also uses Android and the company has little problem keeping it up to date. The phone receives Android updates a few days after the last pixel. This is exactly what happened this year as well. Essential Phone has already received the Android 10 update.
HTC
It's no secret that things did not go well for HTC. Society is almost out of the news and people have largely forgotten about it. This is never a good sign for a consumer electronics company. Last year, the company reached a new floor with regards to Android updates. Until June 2020, only one HTC smartphone was updated to Android Pie. In June, the company added the U12 Plus, U11 and U11 Plus ranges to the Android Pie list. And then it was that.
We do not expect that to change. The Android One version of HTC U11 Life could get the Android 10 update before 2020. The flagship products might also have it sometimes sometime next year.

- HTC U11, U11 Plus, U11 Life
Huawei / honor
Huawei is one of the largest manufacturers of Android smartphones and maintains many phones. They also leave a lot of their devices in the dark. We have already created a separate article for the Android 10 update on Huawei and Honor devices.
LG
LG has not been very good at Android updates. It was not until January 2019 to release the first Android Pie update on any of its devices. In the United States, Android Pie did not arrive on LG smartphones until May. The LG G8 ThinQ was part of the Android 10 beta program. So it should probably be updated before 2020. Although you should not hold your breath for that. LG's latest flagship products and a few midrange devices should receive the update, regardless of the date.
Motorola
Since its acquisition by Lenovo, Motorola is more like Lenovo when it comes to launch Motorola brand devices in the market. do not update them. Unlike other OEMs, Motorola can deploy the update on any device at any time. The Android Pie update, for example, was launched on mid-range Motorola devices before arriving at their flagship product, Moto Z3. The Moto E range no longer receives any update of the Android version.
But Motorola is updating many of its latest devices, so we can expect this trend to continue.

Nokia Android 10 update
Since most Nokia phones are Android One devices, you expect them to do a good job with the updates. And for the most part, they meet those expectations. Last year, Nokia rolled out Android Pie updates on almost all of its flagship devices before the end of 2018. Mid-range and low-end devices had to wait much longer in some cases, but they finally got the update.
Nokia is proud of its update report and wishes to continue this year as well. The company has announced that it will release the updates in 5 waves. Basically, they plan to update all eligible devices from the fourth quarter of 2020 until the second quarter of 2020.

Realme Android 10 update
Realme is a sub-brand of Oppo that targets the budget segment. However, unlike Oppo, Realme clearly plans to update almost all of its devices on Android 10. The company had also managed to secure a place for Realme 3 Pro in the Android beta program. We can therefore expect them to respond to their requests as well.
T1 2020
- Realme 3 Pro, Realme 5 Pro, Realme X, Realme XT
T2 2020
- Realme 3, Realme 5, Realme 3i, Realme 2 Pro
Samsung
Samsung does not have the best reputation for Android updates. However, the business is nothing if it is not prolific. The list of Samsung devices that have received Android Pie updates is huge, that's the least we can say. Due to the heaviness of skinning, the update process takes a while. We have already covered the Android 10 update for Samsung devices in a separate article.
Sony Android 10 update
Just like LG and HTC, Sony is one of the big names in the smartphone industry. Although, unlike them and many more important names in the smartphone market, Sony has been discreetly compatible with Android updates. Last year, the company introduced the Android Pie update on two Xperia XZ1 and XZ2 before Thanksgiving in the United States. We can expect society to maintain its discreet coherence, whether it receives praise or not.
- Sony Xperia 1, Xperia 10
- Sony Xperia XZ3, Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact, Xperia XZ2 Premium
Xiaomi
Xiaomi may not be deploying Android 10 updates on most of their devices, but they are certainly deploying MIUI updates on most of their devices. The list is even longer if you count the number of devices that receive these updates unofficially. We have covered the Android 10 and MIUI 11 updates for Xiaomi devices in a separate article.
We obviously did not list here all the equipment manufacturers, it would be practically impossible. You will also notice glaring omissions such as Oppo, Vivo and even Blackberry. These OEMs only update very few devices and if you bought one, you probably should not wait anyway.
