Edison Mail Gets Rich Text Editor and More With Latest Update
Edison Mail is one of the best email clients for Android and other supported platforms. The latest application update brings a rich text editor and support for templates and a few other cool features. Thanks to the rich text editor, users will now be able to compose personalized e-mails. Therefore, you may want to switch from Gmail to Edison Mail if you have not already done so. These aforementioned features appear on version 1.13.0 of the messaging application. Edison Software, the developers of the messaging app for Android and iOS, are also looking forward to launching the app on Windows.
However, the rich text editor is not the only new feature. As we mentioned above, users will now be able to create email templates. Therefore, you can write a custom template and use it in the future for any email. This feature will help users save a lot of time as you won’t have to write the same email over and over again. For users who don’t know Edison Mail at all, here is a brief overview of the application. Create email templates
To create email templates, follow the steps below.
- Launch the Email by Edison app on your Android phone.
- Press the hamburger menu or slide your finger from the left edge of your screen.
- Scroll down and press settings then select models.
- Press the + icon at the top right and add the model name.
- Finally, simply write your model and press save.
Use the features of the rich text editor
You can use the functionality of the rich text editor by simply creating a new email.
- Tap the text field and start writing text.
- In the lower toolbar, tap the text editor symbol shown in the screenshot.
