Besides the ringtone, you can also change the message notification tones on the Zoom Android app. There are two ways to do this. First, you can access the setting from the Zoom app or access the phone settings. Let’s check both methods.
Note: You cannot customize the tone of messages on the Zoom iPhone or iPad app.
Launch the Zoom app and tap on the Settings tab. Tap Chat. Scroll down and tap Message notification settings.
You will be taken to the Zoom app notification category screen. Tap Sound and set a sound you want. If you don’t see Sound, tap Advanced followed by Sound. You can also turn vibration on / off for zoom messages on this screen.
Open the settings on your Android phone. Go to Applications / Installed applications. Tap Zoom.
Tap Notifications. You will see different notification categories related to the Zoom app. Tap the zoom notification text.
Note: On Android, any setting that has a right bar next to it indicates that it contains more customizable settings.
You will reach the same screen we saw in Method 1. Tap Sound or Advanced> Sound to change the Zoom message notification tone.

How to change the zoom sound in Windows
Some users find that the Zoom notification tone on the PC is too loud. Unfortunately, Zoom desktop clients do not offer the ability to change the ringtone or message tone. However, you can change the Zoom notification sound level without affecting other sounds on your computer or the Zoom meeting sound on Windows.
To do this, follow these steps:
Step 1: On your Windows 10 computer, right click on the Speaker icon present in the taskbar at the bottom. Choose Volume Mixer from the menu.
2nd step: The volume mixer window opens. Here you will see two sound settings for Zoom – Zoom Meetings and Zoom. Lower the zoom slider volume level to change the zoom tones notification volume. Do not change anything for Zoom meetings.
Note: If Zoom does not appear in the volume mixer, have someone message or call you. When you get a zoom notification, open the volume mixer and you will see the Zoom option.
