You may feel the need to transfer your Minecraft account to another. This is very important because Minecraft is a popular game, and most players prefer to keep their account rather than turn away and create a new one. The plan is to transfer your account to another email in the easiest way possible. Do not forget that this method only works with older Minecraft accounts, so you should consider this before proceeding.
Now the first thing to do before going any further is to make sure your new email account is up and running if you have not created an account yet. We suggest you use Outlook, but you can use the option that suits you best.
How to transfer or import a Minecraft account
Migrating your Minecraft account to a new account is very easy, but if you have problems, we will answer you as always. The steps are as follows:
- Visit the Mojang migration page
- Details of your new Mojang account
- If all of the above fails, contact Mojang.
1) Visit the Mojang migration page
OK, the first step here is for the user to visit the migration page provided by Mojang. If you're not sure who Mojang is, it's the company that created Minecraft, which now belongs to Microsoft.
On the page, you can see that you will have to fill out some forms. Make sure to add Minecraft account credentials in detail. Your email, username and password are all needed here to make sure everything goes smoothly.
2) Details of your new Mojang account
In this section, the user will be asked to add the details of his new Mojang account, which is the new Minecraft account. Sign in with the same email and password used to create the new account immediately.
Users will be asked to add their date of birth and accept the terms and conditions before going any further.
The terms and conditions are quite long, we will not detail them here. You can do it yourself if you feel the need.
Finally, click the Migrate Account button to move the data from the old account directly to the new one.
3) If all the above fails, contact Mojang
It is unlikely that the steps we have planned will ever fail, but if things go wrong we would like to propose contact with Mojang.
Visit the contact page, follow the instructions and it should be fine.
