Here’s how to take Street View photos on Google Maps:

  1. Search for a place or address in Google Maps.
  2. Drag Pegman to a location on the map

1]Find a place or address in Google Maps

Open Google Maps on your computer and search or search for a place. You can also click on a place marker on the map.

Then, on the left, select the photo with a ‘Street View icon’360 photo.

When you’re done, go to the top left and click on “Return“.

2]Drag Pegman to a location in Google Maps

Pegman in Google Maps appears in the lower corner of the map. Click on it and you will see highlighted areas on the map (in blue) that give you access to Street View images.

Open Google Maps, bottom right, click on Pegman. Then drag Pegman to the area you want to explore.

To move, pass your cursor in the desired direction. As shown in the image above, your cursor becomes an arrow that indicates the direction in which you are moving.

Uncheck to drop Pegman on a blue line (representing Street View) or a blue point (representing Photo Sphere) or an orange point on the map.

When you’re done, go to the top left and click on “Return‘button.

To exit Google Maps Street View, just go to the top left and click on “Return‘button.
