Specifications of the device
The Infinix Hot 8 has a 6.52-inch screen with a resolution of 720 pixels x 1600 pixels. The aspect ratio is slightly higher than most phones at 20: 9 and slightly shorter than the Sony Xperia One. With such a large screen and a lower resolution, the pixel density of 269 pixels per inch is not the best, but what can be expected from more than one less expensive device.
Inside, there is the MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 processor with a Cortex-A53 quad-core processor at 2.0 GHz. This is the case if you buy the variant with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. If you opt for the enhanced variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, you get the most powerful Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22. It uses an Octa-core Cortex-A53 processor at 1.8 GHz. Regardless of the processor used, both chipsets use the PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
Storage on both variants is expandable up to 256 GB via a dedicated microSD slot. Despite the ultra-cheap pricing, you get a triple rear camera configuration at the back. This includes a 13 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor and a low light QVGA sensor. There is a notch of drops of water in front of the device that houses an 8 MP selfie launcher. A huge battery of 5000 mAh is included for everything to continue.
