Note: I’m using a dark theme extension for my Google Chrome browser, and that’s how I got the dark layout of the Google Calendar in the screenshots below.

Let’s start.

1. How to share Google Calendar

Click the three-dot menu icon next to the calendar you want to share and select Settings and sharing.

We have written a detailed guide to using Google Calendar. It contains even more Google Calendar tips and tricks. Between these two guides, you should have enough to continue.

3. How to cancel a meeting in Google Calendar

There are two scenarios here. You have created the meeting / event and have invited others. You have been invited to someone else’s meeting. Click on the event in both cases, and you will see one of two options.

Enter the email credentials of everyone you want to send an invitation to. You can also enter names to sync details from your Google Contact List. Click Save to start sending the invitations.

9. How to transfer the invitation to Google Calendar

You can forward an invitation if you have the necessary permissions. For example, I created an event and when adding guests (like you) to the event, I set the Invite others permission to yes.

Now you can forward the same invitation to other people and invite more guests to the event. If you do not have the necessary authorizations, speak to the organizer.

I have noticed that some people are looking to transfer the event to their other calendar. If you want to do this, you need to synchronize the existing calendar with this other calendar application – for example, Outlook. Just add your Gmail ID and everything will sync well.

You can also use the Add to Calendar button or download and use the .ICS file, if available, to download the event to a new calendar.

There is no other way at the moment.

10. How to delete the calendar

Click the three-dot menu next to the calendar you want to delete and select Settings and sharing.
