Connecting the new Mi Smart bulb to your phone requires a little patience and attention. For this guide, we used an Android phone. Here are the steps to start the configuration.
Step 1: First of all, you have to download Mi Home application. After that, log in using your Mi account. This step will help you connect all your other Mi smart home products, such as air purifiers and security cameras.
Once connected, the Add Device button appears on the Home screen. Tap, and then select Lighting> Mi Smart LED.
2nd step: At the same time, plug the bulb into the socket and turn it on. Although the light bulb turns on immediately, you will need to reset it once. To do this, turn on / off the switch about five times until the bulb emits a colored display.
Once done, press Operation Confirmed and click the Next button. It is at this point that you should connect the Mi Bulb to your home Wi-Fi network.

How to configure Google Assistant for Mi LED Bulb
Although you can control many things with the Mi Home app, it does not have voice control. And if you have a Google Home or Amazon Echo product with you, the intelligence would be a little lost if you do not use it fully.
And even if you did not have a smart assistant, the ability to turn on the light by your voice can be a charming experience. Yes, you read correctly. You can control the smart bulb through the Google wizard of your phone.
To integrate your Mi Smart Bulb with the wizard, you need the Google Home app.
Step 1: Once you are logged into the app, tap the Add button at the top. This will allow you to add smart devices. The good news is that the process is similar for all types of smart appliances, whether it is a smart light bulb or an air purifier.
On the next page, select the second option for a device other than Google.
2nd step: Give the house a name and tap Next to set up the device. Here, tap Set up device and look for Mi Home in the search page, as shown in the second screenshot.
Then enter the credentials of your Mi account that you used when connecting to the Mi Home app previously. Once everything is verified, all connected devices will appear in a list. If you're using Google Home for the first time, it's likely that most devices have unassigned rooms.
Naming allows you to group two or more devices into a single room. In this way, you can simply say "OK Google, turn on the lights in the room" and all the lights in this room will be on. In a nutshell, it makes life easier.
To assign a part, press the Add to Part button and assign a proper name. In my case, I assigned him to the salon.
