How to make Paytm Work with Team Viewer installed on Android
A recent update of the Paytm application has upset many users. If one of the remote access applications is installed on your device, the application will immediately refuse to function. As soon as you launch the application, you will get a popup window with the list of these installed applications and a message stating “Due to security risks, Paytm will not start until these applications are uninstalled”.
So, as long as you don’t uninstall apps like Team Viewer or Any Desk, the Paytm mobile wallet app won’t work at all. But, I found a workaround with which you can get Paytm to work, without even uninstalling apps like Team Viewer. Here’s how it could be done.
Make Paytm work with Team Viewer installed on Android
The initial configuration for this workaround to work requires some effort. But once the configuration is complete, using the application afterward would not be very complicated. That said, if you still want to be in compliance with their rules, the best bet will be to uninstall these apps and proceed as they say. However, if you want to use these two apps, i.e.Paytm and Team Viewer, follow our guide below. Continue at your own risk.
Steps to follow
- Meeting on Setting on your Android device. Go to System and press Advanced.
- Then visit the Multiple users” section and press Customer. You will now be transferred to the guest profile.
- Meet at Play store. If this is your first time using this profile, you will need to sign in with a Google Account.
- Once finished, download the Paytm application, enter the required credentials and that’s it. You can now easily use the Paytm application without problems and the Team Viewer application will still be operational on your other profile (Admin). As soon as you finish using the app, tap your profile in the notification panel and return to the Administrator profile.
- The next time you want to use this app again, exit the notification panel, switch to the Guest profile, and use the app as you normally would.
